2018 #HarvestingPeace – Interfaith Women Ecology Project in Jerusalem

Natural green spaces are only part of a very complex set of solutions to our divisions, but perhaps they can provide some of the conditions for our coming together–to know one another, to see each other, to tell our stories, and to learn to live and thrive together.

Margaret Lamar from the Children and Nature Network

The Women Faith and Ecology Project in Jerusalem engages women of all faiths in the Jerusalem area to come together and learn about gardening of all scales – from a private balcony to a community garden.

Since 2013 our Women & Ecology projects focused on inspiring women to learn and engage on faith and ecology topics in Jerusalem. Participants continue to work together toward the common cause of sustainability, leading by example in peaceful cooperation towards sustainable lifestyles.

We now want to take the project outside the classroom and educate on gardening, composting, recycling, nutrition and health.

However, we cannot do it alone. Support our fundraising campaign for a new roll out of our Women & Ecology project in Jerusalem.

We aim to raise $25,000 for ten workshops. One workshop costs $2,500. Donations will be matched up to $5,000.
